Art Ark 500 is evolving; plans are implemented and continuously improved. The latest updates shall prevail.
Date of Last Revision: 5 November 2025
1.1 All collective publications under the Art Ark 500 Program require no publication fees from participating Master Members. In addition, Master Members may elect to publish individually selected projects (“optional publications”) at their own expense.
1.2 Each year, Losget Academy provides an Optional Publication Channel for Master Members who meet eligibility requirements and wish to pursue an individual Artist Monograph publication.
1.3 The optional publication currently includes two categories:
(a) Individual Artist Monograph. A personal collection of a Master Member’s artworks in various forms—such as oil paintings, acrylic works, sketches, or drafts. These volumes are published within the Art Ark 500 Master Member Monograph series, under titles such as “Art Ark 500 Master Member Monograph: [Name of Master Member]”. The artist must submit high-resolution photographs of the works. Upon approval by Losget Academy, each monograph may include between 40 and 200 qualified artworks.
(b) Student Collection. A collective publication of a Master Member’s students’ artworks (whether or not the students hold Student Membership). These volumes are published within the Art Ark 500 series, under titles such as “Art Ark 500 Master Member Student Series: Works of the Students of [Name of Master Member]”. The supervising Master Member shall be listed as the instructor and associate editor. Each publication may include between 40 and 200 qualified artworks, subject to the same submission and review standards.
1.4 The official publisher for all Art Ark 500 Program publications is Losget Press. The standard publication fee for an Artist Monograph through Losget Press is USD 10,000. However, Losget Press allocates 50 discounted publication opportunities per calendar year to the Art Ark 500 Program, each at 50% of the standard fee. These 50 discounted slots may be applied to either an individual monograph or a student collection and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.5 Losget Academy is responsible only for managing these 50 discounted optional publications each year. Beyond this quota, Master Members may directly contact Losget Press or any other publisher for additional services. The Academy and the Art Ark 500 Program shall not intervene in or be associated with such publications. Independent publications shall not use the names Losget Academy or Art Ark 500, though Master Members may choose whether to identify themselves as Art Ark 500 Master Members.
2.1 At the beginning of each new membership year, every Master Member automatically receives 1,000 Publication Points.
2.2 Publication Points may be used solely to offset optional publication costs, with each point equivalent to one U.S. dollar. Points may be accumulated and used cumulatively across years.
2.3 Upon termination of Master Membership, all unused Publication Points shall be immediately voided.
2.4 A maximum of 4,000 Publication Points may be applied toward a single Artist Monograph publication.
2.5 Example: A Master Member intends to publish an Artist Monograph. The standard publication fee is USD 10,000; the discounted rate is USD 5,000. The Master Member holds 6,000 Publication Points and may apply 4,000 points to offset USD 4,000, paying USD 1,000 in cash while retaining 2,000 points for future use.
3.1 After paying the publication fee, the Master Member (the author) shall receive 100% of all initial royalty income until the total publication cost—including any portion offset by Publication Points—is fully recouped.
3.2 Thereafter, subsequent sales revenue shall be shared as follows:
(a) Author: 80%
(b) Losget Academy: 10%
(c) Losget Press: 10%
3.3 Royalty income shall be based on the actual settlement amounts received by Losget Press from all distribution platforms and shall be distributed annually.
3.4 A Master Member who later withdraws or whose membership terminates shall continue to receive royalties from previously published works under the same revenue-sharing ratio; changes in membership status shall not affect existing publication rights.
3.5 Each Master Member determines the book pricing within the minimum and maximum limits permitted by the distribution platform and may revise the price once per month.
3.6 A Master Member may suspend or permanently discontinue sales at their discretion, subject to the policies of the respective distribution platforms (e.g., certain platforms may allow permanent discontinuation but not delisting).
4.1 The editing, cover design, and layout design of all publications under the Art Ark 500 Program shall be supervised by Losget Academy and executed by Losget Press, with the objective of maintaining a unified and recognizable publication style.
4.2 The Academy may, from time to time, explore and adopt improved editorial and design approaches; however, all changes shall serve the overarching objective of cultivating a unified and elegant publication style.
4.3 Individual requests from Master Members regarding editorial or design preferences cannot be accommodated, as all publications adhere to the unified aesthetic and editorial standards established by the Academy.
5.1 In addition to the annual automatic award of 1,000 points for timely renewal of Master Membership, Losget Academy may announce other opportunities to earn Publication Points.
5.2 Currently announced opportunities include a bonus of 2,000 Publication Points granted to the first 100 enrolled Master Members.
5.3 Any future opportunities to earn Publication Points shall be published on the official website as they arise.
6.1 Printed books are currently distributed through Amazon platforms in 14 countries: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Japan, Canada, and Australia.
6.2 Additional sales channels may be added in the future.
6.3 Once an optional publication is listed for sale, any subsequent content modification shall incur a fee of USD 100 per page (or 100 Publication Points per page), regardless of the extent of revision on that page.
6.4 Revisions apply only to future printings and sales; books already sold or printed cannot be altered.
7.1 If a Master Member (or former Master Member) publishes a separate Artist Monograph with an external publisher and the publisher deems it to conflict with an existing Art Ark 500 optional publication, the Master Member may choose between:
(a) Termination of Sales: Request that Losget Academy cease sales of the existing publication; or
(b) Price Adjustment: Request that Losget Academy reclassify the book as a high-value collector’s edition (for example, increasing the retail price from USD 40 to USD 500) to avoid market conflict while keeping the previous edition available.
7.2 In either case, previously paid publication fees shall not be refunded.
7.3 Publications involving works by multiple Master Members are not eligible to request sales termination or price adjustment; any such actions may be undertaken only at the discretion of Losget Academy.
