Art Ark 500 is evolving; plans are implemented and continuously improved. The latest updates shall prevail.
Date of Last Revision: 4 November 2025
1.1 Publication Scale. Each collective artbook published at the Academy’s expense shall include no more than 100 Master Members. For example, if 500 Master Members are active, five separate volumes shall be issued, each featuring 100 artists.
1.2 Publication Frequency. Each Master Member shall have at least two opportunities per year—typically one in spring and one in autumn—to participate in collective publication.
2.1 Based on members’ creative output, outstanding works may be published in additional thematic volumes (e.g., Landscape Collection, Portrait Collection).
2.2 Selection criteria and publication timelines for such thematic collections shall be determined and announced on the official website.
3.1 Hundred Masterpieces. Each year, 100 exceptional artworks shall be selected and published in the Annual One Hundred Masterpieces series.
3.2 Person of the Year Monograph. Each year, one Master Member shall be named Person of the Year and granted an Artist Monograph publication. The selected artist must submit 40–100 qualified artwork photographs for inclusion. If the required materials cannot be provided within the same year, they may be submitted within three years. Failure to do so—or termination of membership during this period—shall be deemed a waiver of the publication opportunity.
4.1 By participating in collective publication, Master Members authorize Losget Academy to use the submitted artwork images for editorial, design, and publication purposes by the designated publisher (currently Losget Press).
4.2 Rights and License. Copyright remains with the artist. By participating, the artist grants Losget Academy and its designated publisher a non-exclusive license to reproduce and publish the submitted images for the collective artbooks and related promotion; no transfer of ownership occurs, and the artist remains free to authorize other uses.
5.1 No Page Fees. Participation in any collective publication is free of page or inclusion fees.
5.2 Name Presentation. All artworks shall be credited in a uniform English format. An artist may request that their native-language name be shown in parentheses immediately following the English name.
6.1 Publisher. Losget Press is the designated publisher of the Art Ark 500 Program, responsible for editing, design, publication, distribution, and the collection of sales proceeds.
6.2 Definition of Sales Revenue. “Sales revenue” refers to the actual amounts received by the designated publisher from all distribution platforms or sales channels.
7.1 Sales Channels. Printed editions are currently distributed through Amazon platforms in 14 countries: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Japan, Canada, and Australia. Future channels may be added.
7.2 Distribution Ratio. Net sales revenue shall be distributed as follows:
(a) 80% equally among all Master Members included in that volume (regardless of the number of works contributed by each member);
(b) 10% to Losget Academy;
(c) 10% to Losget Press.
7.3 Public Disclosure. The revenue distribution statements and settlement details for each volume shall be published on the official website for transparency and public oversight.
7.4 Settlement Cycle. Sales data from all channels shall be aggregated by calendar year, with settlements conducted annually and distributions issued after year-end reconciliation.
7.5 Perpetual Royalty Rights. All Master Members whose works appear in a published volume shall retain perpetual royalty rights for that volume, regardless of future membership status. However, if a member’s work is later disqualified for reasons such as falsification and removed from reprints, that member shall no longer participate in subsequent revenue distributions for that publication.
